What does controlled access mean?
Access to the facility is only granted to authorized and fully paid-up clients - proof of identity required
What other security measures are in place for personal security and that of my belongings?
The facility is locked at all times and the entrances monitored. All storage areas are covered by electronic sensors and linked to an armed response company with regular patrols of the area.
How many units of each dimension are available?
This varies depending on occupancy, but we usually have many different sizes to suit your needs. Month-end is usually the busiest time, so we would advise that you plan ahead and book your space in advance. One month's deposit will secure the unit required.
Is a discount given when bulk space is rented?
Yes! Since the rates per cubic foot are lower for larger units, if you require more than one unit, we will adjust the rental to reflect the more favorable rates.
Is discount given when space is rented over an extended period of time?
Yes! We offer generous discounts for pre-paid contracts - call or email our site manager for details.
How can I be sure that no other persons will enter my unit?
U-STORE, U-LOCK, U-KEEP-THE-KEY! This means that you control who has access to your storage unit because you keep the key of the lock to your storage unit. We supply the cylinder lock, and you control the keys. We use the highest security locks available in the industry with only the best steel rollup doors.
Does Store & Lock provide insurance?
Insurance is available through our brokers at competitive rates, however we suggest that you simply advise your insurance company of a change of site address.
What about hazardous materials?
We do not permit the storage of illegal, flammable, combustible, hazardous or dangerous materials of any description. Nor will we allow the storage of fresh produce or unstable materials.
Do you have labor to assist with moving goods into the storage unit?
Assistance is available with advanced notice. Appliance carts and furniture dollies are also available.
Do you have packing materials?
Yes. We have an assortment of boxes and packaging tape to assist you with packing your valuables.
Is there a charge for access to my unit?
There is no access fee if your rent is paid up. Access is free 24/7/365!
Can I drive into the facility?
Yes, we have gated, secure areas for on-loading and off-loading.
